Celebrating the 400th anniversary of the founding of America
Across the nation, in 2007, America will celebrate the 400th anniversary of one of history's most significant journeys, a sea voyage that culminated in the first foothold in the New World and what was to become the United States of America.
The Official Commemorative Program will include a fascinating panorama of historical events since 1607 as well as an in-depth overview of the building and development of the state of Virginia, its trade and economy. The Program is also a tribute to Virginia's founding fathers and legendary leaders through the ages.
